Yoga & Mindfulness for kids
In a world of screens and constant noise, an authentic yoga practice gives children something lasting — rooted in thousands of years of wisdom, adapted with care for young bodies and minds.
Age-appropriate postures build strength, flexibility, and balance — never forced, always joyful.
Simple breathing techniques teach children to regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and find stillness.
Mindful movement and stillness practice build attention spans that carry directly into the classroom.
A non-competitive, supportive space where every child grows at their own pace — building genuine self-esteem.
Children practice the joy of being content in the present moment, learning to appreciate what is here and now as a natural part of every class.
Moving beyond modern trends, we connect children to the true origins of yoga, honoring it as a living heritage and a timeless cultural legacy.

What parents say
We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful yoga instructor for our daughter. She has shown incredible patience and genuine care for every child in the class. What sets her apart is the breadth of what she teaches — from foundational asanas to the full Surya Namaskar sequence, all introduced in a way that keeps kids engaged and excited. My daughter looks forward to every single class. She has guided our daughter through breathing exercises and — most impressively — techniques to calm the mind and shift energy levels depending on the activity. These are life skills, not just yoga poses. We are so thankful for the positive impact she has had on our daughter's confidence, focus, and overall wellbeing.
Smita ji has an amazing way of connecting with children. She makes every class so much fun that the kids look forward to attending each week. It's never just about yoga poses — she includes games, challenges, and interactive activities that keep children engaged while they learn. My daughter absolutely loves her classes and always comes home excited to share what they did. We've known Smita ji for many years, and she is not only an exceptional yoga teacher but also someone who truly understands how to make learning enjoyable for kids. I would wholeheartedly recommend her classes to any parent looking for a fun and meaningful yoga experience for their children.
I cannot recommend Smita ji highly enough! Teaching yoga to a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old is no small feat, but the ability to deliver excellent, high-quality instruction both online and in person is truly remarkable. What makes these classes so special is the perfect balance of fun and structured learning. Since starting these sessions, my boys have become significantly more focused, calmer, and have developed much better self-discipline. I am especially grateful for how Smita ji connects yoga to everyday life — my sons are actually using these tools outside of class. They love the playful approach, and as a parent, I love seeing the positive, real-world impact. If you are looking for an exceptional, patient, and deeply impactful youth yoga instructor, look no further!
